Two sacked workers kill Surat unit owner
Speaking about the matter, The officer has informed that Kalpesh's father Dhanjibhai, maternal uncle Ghanshyam Razodia, and Kalpesh Dholakia the factory owner were stabbed by the sacked employees.

Companies have been laying off employees in 2022. In a recent incident, two sacked workers have recently killed a factory owner and his two family members.

Speaking about the matter, The officer has informed that Kalpesh’s father Dhanji Dholakiya, maternal uncle Ghanshyam Razodia, and Kalpesh Dholakia the factory owner were stabbed by the sacked employees.

One of the police officers said, “On Sunday around 9 a.m., the retrenched worker whose services were terminated 10 days ago came to the factory along with his associate.”

“They had heated arguments with Dholakia, which soon turned into a scuffle. During the fight, one of the two accused stabbed Dholakia with a knife,” the police officer added.

“Preliminary information was that the industrial unit owner had paid all his dues before terminating the suspect’s services,” said Another Deputy Commissioner of Police Pinakin Parmar.

All three were rushed to the hospital but they were declared dead. Two workers are laid off by the factory owner Kalpesh Dholakia 10 days before the incident. Kalpesh owned an embroidery unit Vedanta Texo in Surat. 

As per police information, Kalpesh Dholakia the factory owner terminated the workers because of some mistakes that were committed by the two workers during their night duty hours.

This affected the production of the company. Additionally, before terminating their services the owner had also paid all their dues.

The Current status

The Amroli police have registered a case of murder against the two workers Ashok Raut and the 17-year-old accused. They are the residents of Surat Municipal Corporation Awas at Kosad and natives of the Ganjam district in Odisha.
