
An IT services, consulting, and business solutions organization, Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) to oversee the recruitment process of 11,000 positions in Maharashtra’s Health Department. The recruitment for 10,949 vacancies
The recruitment for 10,949 vacancies for roles such as nurses, technical, and non-technical staff in the C and D categories across government hospitals and healthcare facilities will be filled in the near future.
“There are 60 different types of posts in the C and D categories including nurses, technical staff, and non-technical staff. With this, the state will be able to fill almost all the posts in C and D categories in all the government hospitals,” Maharashtra’s Health Minister, Tanaji Sawant, said.
“The entire recruitment process will be implemented through Tata Consultancy Services (TCS). The advertisement for the same will be released soon and the exams will be conducted online,” he said.
TCS Hiring

The company has now started onboarding some of the lateral hires whose onboarding was earlier delayed for 3 months.
In an email to the employees the company said, “As you commence your new journey, we are glad to invite you to attend the in-person TCS onboarding program scheduled for July 17 (Monday).”
The TCS employees who cleared the background verification process have been onboarded. Additionally, the company emphasized critical examination in order to remove fake resumes during the induction process.
TCS’s this quarter workforce strength is 615,318. The company’s net headcount addition of 523 and the contribution of women in the workforce is 35.8%.
The company’s headcount as of March 31, 2023, stood at 6,14,795. TCS headcount stood at 613,974 as on December 31, 2022.
