Tech Mahindra Hiring Spree: Explore IT & BPS Job Opportunities

Recently, Tech Mahindra CEO, Mohit Joshi said that the company is consistently recruiting fresh graduates, maintaining a pace of hiring over 1,500 new graduates each quarter.

This steady addition aligns with their ongoing commitment to expanding their workforce with new talent. Tech Mahindra also announced its plan to hire 6,000 freshers in the financial year 2025.

Tech Mahindra Internal Hiring

As TOI reports, Tech Mahindra has substantially increased its internal hiring to fill vacant positions. According to the company’s annual report, 70.2% of total vacancies in the 2023-24 financial year were filled internally, a significant rise from 60% in the previous year.

This achievement comes despite a reduction in average training hours per employee, which dropped to 48.9 hours in the 2023-24 financial year from 56.6 hours in the prior year. This decrease in training hours highlights the efficiency and effectiveness of Tech Mahindra’s internal talent management.

Richard Lobo, Chief Human Resources Officer, emphasized the company’s strategy, “We aim to harness the capabilities of our internal talent through targeted skilling, proactive placements, and strategic planning.” This approach reflects Tech Mahindra’s commitment to leveraging its existing workforce’s potential to meet business demands.

Lobo further noted that a blend of internal talent and selective external hiring best addresses the company’s ongoing requirements. This balanced strategy ensures that the company remains agile and responsive to market needs while fostering employee growth and development.
