Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) has launched the TCS iON Remote Internships program, offering students and recent graduates the opportunity to gain industry-relevant experience from the comfort of their homes.

This initiative is designed to bridge the gap between academia and industry, providing structured, AICTE-compliant internships across various domains.

Program Variants and Features

The TCS iON Remote Internships are available in three variants, each tailored to different learning needs:

  • RIO-45: A 45-hour program focusing on trending topics.
  • RIO-125: A 125-hour program that includes webinars by industry mentors.
  • RIO-210: A comprehensive 210-hour program offering webinars, industry readiness courses, and extensive project work.

Each variant provides access to industry-curated learning materials, daily activity reports, digital discussion rooms, and assessments, ensuring a holistic learning experience.

Participants also receive guidance from industry mentors and can earn academic credits aligned with AICTE and UGC standards.

Enrollment Process

Interested candidates can enroll by visiting the TCS iON Remote Internships page.

The enrollment process involves registering on the platform, selecting the desired internship variant, and activating the license using an activation code or by purchasing the program directly.

Participants are required to choose a project aligned with their interests and provide details of an academic mentor from their institution for evaluation purposes.

Testimonials

Students who have participated in the program have praised its structure and the support provided by mentors.

Ashwini Walavalkar from Vidyavardhini College of Engineering and Technology shared, “The mentors have truly been tolerant towards us, and have been correcting us through their feedback. During this pandemic, we as interns had a great experience through this internship.”

Oishi Saha from Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology said, “Even though I only had a basic understanding of the topics of my project when I first started the internship, the reference materials and the webinars made the learning process seem like a piece of cake.”

Conclusion

The TCS iON Remote Internships program offers a flexible and accessible pathway for students to gain practical experience and industry exposure.

By integrating academic learning with real-world projects and mentorship, TCS aims to enhance the employability of graduates and prepare them for the evolving job market.
