Deloitte rolls out special increments and bonuses

Deloitte rolls out special increments and bonuses

According to the ET report, Deloitte India has announced bonuses and special increments over and above the usual salary hikes in March, indicating a recovery in the demand for advisory services.

The company sent increment letters to employees on Tuesday. The letters sent to employees also mentioned that executives would also get “special increments” over and above normal salary jumps.

All employees in the firm have got this special compensation. In most cases, this is either a bonus or a straightforward increase in their salary. However, company partners, directors, and other senior executives have been given one-time bonuses, for those below manager level, salaries have been revised, according to the ET report.

Report also says, all employees will have a second round of appraisal in June this year.

In the month of December last year, Deloitte Global CEO Punit Renjen told to media that Deloitte will double its 55,000-strong workforce in India over two to three years to tap the talent pool India offers.

“The company has 55,000 individuals who serve the most prominent clients and government in India and the world from India. We have centres in Hyderabad, Gurgaon, and Pune that serve the world. Our plan over the next two to three years is to double that workforce.” Punit said in Dec 2020.
