Deutsche Bank to hire 1,000 freshers in India this year
According to a Business Insider report, the German banking giant, Deutsche Bank plan to hire up to 1,000 new freshers in India in the coming financial year, after March 31, 2021. The company is looking for people who have the ability to be flexible as technology changes rather than specific digital skills.
The report says, company wants to double down on digitisation, and its focus is on cloud technology, simplifying the tech stack which is the back end processes for loans, account opening, and other functions competence in artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning (ML).
Dilipkumar Khandelwal, Deutsche Bank’s Global Chief Information Officer said to Business Insider, “In line with our strategy of internalising our technology talent and growing our engineering capabilities in house, we are expecting to hire up to 1,000 employees at our India technology centres this year,”
He added, “Deutsche Bank hires from the best campuses in India like the Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs) and the Indian Institutes of Management (IIMs). According to Khandelwal, the bank is looking at-least 25 to 35 different colleges across the country.”
Deutsche Bank established its first branch in India in 1980 and currently operates branches in 16 cities.
