Pernod Ricard India to bear the COVID–19 vaccination costs for all its employees

Liquor company, Pernod Ricard India will bear the COVID–19 vaccination costs for all its employees and their families including spouse, kids, parents, and parent-in-law, and also covering the third-party staff. The decision ensures the nationwide vaccination drive commencing April 1, 2021, for all people in the age group of 45 years and above.

Shrikant Lonikar, CHRO, Pernod Ricard India, said, “At Pernod Ricard India, people are at the heart of everything we do, and we are committed to ensuring their safety and wellbeing. The pandemic has significantly challenged us, and we thank all our colleagues, partners and their families for their relentless efforts, and support during such challenging times.”

“The vaccine rollout presents a ray of hope to normal life, and we are doing all we can to win this battle against the pandemic. Facilitating a seamless COVID-19 vaccination cover for all employees, third-party staff, and their immediate families is our first commitment to thank their efforts and keep them safe.“ He added.

Pernod Ricard India has been working remotely for the last one year. Right from the onset of the pandemic, the organization has been extending all possible support to its employees. Through their employee wellness program – ANANDA, the company has been actively working to foster a happy, healthy, and positive culture of wellness for its people.

Regular online yoga sessions, internal competitions, virtual coffee sessions, nutritionist workshops, special counseling, etc., are some of the initiatives that the company has promoted internally for its employees.

The company has also tied up with doctors and hospitals across the country and deployed a hotline for employees and their families for COVID- 19 assistance. As a safety measure, employees have been provided with COVID-19 kits and standby access to oxygen concentrators.
