Besides providing employment and self-employment to youth, employment and self-employment opportunities would also be created by providing skill training, apprenticeship, allotment of land, giving various types of licenses and permissions, he added.

For making the campaign successful, all departments, organisations and authorities will set up help desks. At the help desks, proper details of programmes related to employment, self-employment, skills training and employment through self-employment will be made available.

A database of the employment created under this campaign will also be created and an app and portal will also be developed for this. In addition, all the directorates, corporations, boards, commissions, etc. will also nominate a nodal officer for their departments.

All the programmes of the campaign will be conducted by the industrial development commissioner and a high level committee headed by the chief secretary will monitor the campaign on a monthly basis.

In addition, there will be a committee in every district under the chairmanship of the district magistrate that will prepare an action plan at the district level. The Directorate of Training and Employment will also be organising employment fairs in collaboration with private industries. The cases of employment that have been halted for some reason will also be disposed of.

It may be mentioned here that the state government is training youth to assist them in getting employment at district as well as global levels and for this, the Uttar Pradesh Skill Development Mission is providing international-level courses to 50,000 youth through the online learning platform Course.
