PwC India has announced a significant reshuffle in its leadership team, effective from April 1, 2025.
The changes are aimed at strengthening the firm’s presence in India and aligning with its strategic growth objectives.
The new appointments include key roles such as Chief Commercial Officer, Chief Industries Officer, and Leader for Clients and Alliances.
Leadership Changes at PwC
Vivek Prasad has been appointed as the Chief Commercial Officer, tasked with overseeing commercial strategy and growth across the firm’s existing lines of service and key growth areas such as Global Capability Centres (GCCs).
He was previously the markets leader at PwC India.
Arnab Basu will take over as the Chief Industries Officer, moving from his previous role as the Advisory leader.
In his new role, Arnab will focus on demand generation in priority areas and drive client outreach programs to capture emerging client segments.
Manpreet Singh Ahuja will become the Leader for Clients and Alliances, transitioning from his role as Chief Digital Officer.
She will work extensively on deepening go-to-market strategies with key alliance partners, with a heightened focus on domestic clients.
Dinesh Arora will lead the advisory practice, moving from his role as the Deals leader.
He will be supported by Dheeraj Gangrade, who has been appointed as the Deputy Advisory Leader, a role created to bring focus to the next line of leaders for the firm.
Sudipta Ghosh, who earlier led the firm’s Data and Analytics Practice, will move into the newly-constituted role of Chief Delivery Officer.
Sudipta’s role will focus on ushering greater delivery efficiency and developing new ways of working in the firm.
Continuing Leadership Roles
Asha Ramanathan will continue in her role as Chief Operating Officer.
Other leaders continuing in their roles include Shirin Sehgal as Chief People Officer and Sanjeev Takkar as General Counsel.
Manoj Kashyap will remain as Chief Risk Officer, and Neeraj Gupta will continue as Leader for Partner Affairs.
Sivarama Krishnan will take on the additional role of Leader of New Initiatives.
He will be responsible for incubating new business segments, in addition to being the Risk Consulting Leader.
PwC New Function: Brand and Public Policy
PwC has also announced the formation of a Brand and Public Policy function.
This new function will be headed by Ruchi Mann, who has served as the Chief Marketing Officer since July 2023.
Ruchi will work on building long-term strategic brand alliances for the company and deepen its outreach with public policy institutions.
Sanjeev Krishan, Chairperson of PwC India, emphasized that the leadership changes are pivotal for building convergence in enabling clients’ strategic growth journeys and the firm’s aspirations in India.
He also highlighted that PwC has achieved its ambitious milestone of $1 billion in topline revenue well ahead of schedule.
