Each year the United Nations identifies a theme to be universally imbibed and practiced during the period of International Women’s Day. With a view to take these themes forward, DMA is adopting some of the themes & sub themes for the Women Development Conference 2019.
Gender Diversity is considered a Force Multiplier. There is a paradigm shift with organizations viewing diversity as a competitive edge. Focus has shifted and Managements are consciously working towards bringing in a balance. The numbers however are still few and gradually increasing. The young women professionals today are anxious:-
- How to reach the top?
- Is there a glass ceiling?
- How to continue in mainstream?
- How to overcome bottlenecks?
- Are these Myths or Realities?
This Conference is a step towards clearing the mist and doubts. Eminent Speakers from India and overseas will bring their rich experiences through Keynote Addresses, Panel Discussions and Presentations.
It’s also a step towards developing young women leaders through learning experiences. There is also an input on self grooming.
