Ernst & Young (EY) GDS Expands Presence in Kochi with Cyber Green Office

Ernst & Young Global Delivery Services (EY GDS) has inaugurated its latest office at Prestige Cyber Green in Kochi, Kerala.

Since the inception of EY GDS in 2002, Kerala has been a focal point for the company, playing a significant role in its growth strategy.

Presently, the company employs over 10,000 individuals in the state, with more than 7,000 based in Kochi and approximately 3,000 in Thiruvananthapuram.

EY GDS intends to double this figure in the next four to five years.

EY GDS Kochi Office: Inauguration Ceremony and Dignitaries

The new office, which is the fourth EY GDS facility in Kochi, solidifies the city’s role as a central hub for the organization’s future growth.

A host of dignitaries, including P Rajeev, Honourable Minister for Industries, Law and Coir in Kerala, and Ajay Anand, Global Vice Chair of EY GDS, graced the inauguration event hosted at Prestige Cyber Green.

The ceremony commenced with the traditional lighting of the lamp by the dignitaries, followed by a keynote address from Ajay Anand.

Honourable Minister P Rajeev delivered the inaugural address.

This was followed by a panel discussion on “Leveraging Kerala for GCC’s Growth and Scale” and a session dedicated to EY GDS’s corporate responsibility initiatives in Kerala.

These discussions spotlighted significant updates on initiatives like the Career Reinstate Program and Next-Gen Employability Program.

Both programs aim to drive positive community impact.

Strategic Expansion and Innovation

Ajay Anand, Global Vice Chair of EY Global Delivery Services, remarked, “The inauguration of our new office in Kochi is a testament to our commitment to tapping into Kerala’s rich talent reservoir.”

He added, “This strategic expansion is aimed at fostering innovation, creating new opportunities, and propelling sustainable growth.”

Ajay said, “Kochi, with its dynamic business environment and skilled professionals, is an ideal backdrop for this growth chapter.”

P Rajeev, Kerala Industries Minister, stated, “We are delighted to see the expansion of EY GDS in Kochi.”

Rajeev added, “It further reinforces Kerala’s position as a thriving hub for innovation and talent.”

“This new facility represents not just an investment in infrastructure but also in the immense potential of our people,” he said.

Rajeev further mentioned, “The presence of EY GDS here will drive job creation, foster skill development, and contribute significantly to the state’s digital transformation journey.”
