To enhance job creation and expand opportunities for young job seekers, the Ministry of Labour & Employment signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with FoundIt, a leading job portal, on February 10, 2025.
The MoU was signed in the presence of Union Minister of Labour & Employment and Youth Affairs & Sports, Dr. Mansukh Mandaviya.
NCS Portal Partners with FoundIt: Employment Opportunities
The MoU aims to enhance both international and domestic employment opportunities for job seekers registered on the National Career Service (NCS) portal.
Mansukh highlighted the NCS portal’s transformative role in bridging the gap between job seekers and employment opportunities, both within India and abroad.
This MoU will bring 1.25 lakh international vacancies and over 10 lakh domestic vacancies to NCS each year, with the addition of 3,000 to 4,000 job postings daily.
This will significantly boost employment prospects for Indian youth.
The NCS portal’s integration with the e-Migrate platform is a key aspect of this MoU.
Under this platform, more than 500 active recruitment agencies registered with the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) have been onboarded.
This initiative has opened doors for Indian professionals to secure jobs with credible, verified employers abroad.
The partnership with FoundIt will enable the NCS portal to facilitate vacancies in countries such as Germany, Finland, and nations across the Middle East.
These countries are actively seeking skilled workers for both blue-collar and white-collar jobs.
This will significantly broaden the employment prospects for Indian job seekers.
Commitment to Inclusive Employment: Bridging the Skill Gap
V Suresh, CEO of FoundIt, lauded the partnership.
He stated that it aligns with the Modi government’s vision of ‘Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas’ by fostering inclusive employment opportunities.
The MoU will provide job seekers registered on the NCS portal access to vacancies within India. It will also offer opportunities in Southeast Asia and the Middle East.
The NCS portal integrates with My Bharat, SIDH portal, which is bridging the skill gap among the youth to making them more employable.
This integration ensures that job seekers have access to relevant job listings and skill development programs, enhancing their employability.
