Shri Jayant Chaudhary, Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship (MSDE), inaugurated two skill training centers—one in Delhi and another in Bengaluru with a collaborative effort between Tata STRIVE and Airbus India Private Limited.

The joint initiative aims to empower students with future-ready skills, bridging the gap between education and industry demands.

Partnership between Tata and Airbus

Tata STRIVE, the skill development initiative of Tata Community Initiatives Trust (TCIT), has joined hands with Airbus India to establish Airbus-Tata STRIVE Skills Training Centres.

These centers serve as platforms for students seeking careers in digital courses, providing them with valuable exposure to state-of-the-art training infrastructure.

The partnership focuses on critical sectors such as Infrastructure, Logistics, Aerospace, and Defense, aligning skilling programs with the evolving needs of industry and the labor market.

Shri Jayant Chaudhary’s Vision

During the inauguration, Jayant said, “I am delighted to launch the two skilling centers in Delhi and Bangalore in partnership with Tata Strive and Airbus, marking a significant step in equipping our youth with future-ready skills.”

He added, “During my visit to the center, it was inspiring to meet the bright and ambitious candidates who represent India’s next generation of innovators.”

Jayant further stated, “This collaboration in critical sectors like Infrastructure, Logistics, Aerospace, and Defense highlights the importance of aligning skilling programs with the evolving needs of industry and the labor market.”

“By leveraging India’s strengths and tailoring our approach to local demands, MSMEs, and state policies, we can meaningful opportunities for every individual across geographies.”

Speaking on the partnership he added, “Tata’s deep social engagement with national priorities is commendable, and I urge Airbus and Tata to further their efforts in skill development and higher education on a continuous basis.”

Furthermore, “By integrating skilling with formal education, we can create a seamless path for students to explore new horizons and enhance their competencies in tandem with industry needs.”

Jayant emphasised, “Our youth must continuously aspire to reinvent themselves and embrace lifelong learning. The 120 students trained here will not only be skilled but confident, ready to soar higher.”

“Airbus doesn’t just help the candidates fly—it inspires them to aim for new heights in both education and skills,” he added.

The Bright Candidates and Course Offerings by Tata and Airbus

During his visit to the centers, Shri Jayant Chaudhary met with bright and ambitious candidates—representatives of India’s youth who aspire to make a difference.

These students, numbering 120 in total, will undergo training in various domains, gaining expertise through placement-linked skill programs.

The courses offered span IT, Electronics, and Aviation sectors, covering topics such as AWS Cloud Computing, Junior Full Stack Developer, and Cyber Security.

The centers, located in Dwarka (New Delhi) and Nagavara (Bengaluru, Karnataka), are well-equipped to provide short-term courses lasting 3 to 6 months.

These courses focus on skill development and sustainable livelihood opportunities. Notably, the curriculum includes AWS Cloub Computing, Junior Full Stack Developer and Cyber Security.

Future Prospects

While the initial offerings concentrate on IT and Electronics, the partnership between Tata STRIVE and Airbus holds the potential to introduce courses in Aviation and Aerospace in the future.

As India’s aviation and defense sectors continue to grow, skilled professionals in these areas are in high demand. The centers aim to bridge this gap by nurturing talent and providing industry-relevant training.
