Bloomberg has announced that 418 companies representing a combined market capitalization of USD16 Trillion and headquartered in 45 countries and regions are included in the 2022 Bloomberg Gender-Equality Index (GEI).
The seven Indian companies such as Dr. Reddy’s Laboratories, Firstsource Solutions, HCL Technologies, Tata Consultancy Services, Tech Mahindra, Wipro, and WNS Holdings are included in the 2022 Bloomberg Gender-Equality Index (GEI).
The Bloomberg Gender-Equality Index (GEI) tracks the performance of public companies committed to disclosing their efforts to support gender equality through policy development, representation, and transparency.
This reference index measures gender equality across five pillars: female leadership & talent pipeline, equal pay & gender pay parity, inclusive culture, anti-sexual harassment policies, and pro-women brand.
TCS’ women workforce crosses 200,000; adds 28,238 employees in Q3, takes overall employees’ tally to 556,986. India’s largest IT services company Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) has over 36% women in its workforce.
