Genius Consultants has unveiled its December 2024 Survey Report, offering a detailed analysis of Workplace Trends; Employee Growth and Well-being, etc.
1. Key Insights into Workplace Productivity and Welfare
The survey, based on responses from 1,132 employees and 1,011 employers, sheds light on productivity, work-life balance, employee growth, and the effectiveness of employee-centric policies.
Highlights:
- Skill Development: 23% of employees report frequent upskilling opportunities, while 28% state they are only occasional and 27% find them rare.
- Work-Life Balance: 31% of employees are satisfied, but 23% feel organizational efforts are inadequate.
- Workplace Safety: 40% of employees believe safety measures are sufficient, while 33% express concerns about gaps.
- Productivity Support: 30% of respondents are satisfied with tools and training, whereas 15% find them insufficient.
2. Employers’ Perspective on Productivity and Employee Welfare
The survey also examines employers’ commitments and challenges in aligning policies with workforce expectations. While many employers prioritize productivity tracking and labour welfare, several hurdles remain in execution.
Highlights:
- Productivity Monitoring: 35% of employers report effective tracking systems, but 30% admit to gaps, and 16% remain uncertain.
- Labour Welfare Policies: 60% of employers focus on mental health, inclusivity, and employee benefits, yet 20% face implementation barriers.
- Challenges in Policy Execution: 49% of employers find welfare policy implementation highly challenging, while only 13% consider it easy.
- Policy Updates: 50% of employers update policies annually, 16% bi-annually, and 22% infrequently.
3. Need for Policy Enhancement and Government Support
The report highlights the role of government policies in workforce productivity and welfare, revealing mixed feedback from employers regarding local and state-level support.
Highlights:
- Government Support: 33% of employers are highly satisfied with local and state policies, while 15% express dissatisfaction.
- Neutral Stance: 37% of employers remain neutral, indicating a need for improved awareness and engagement with policy frameworks.
