The company has revised the leave policies and introduced Bereavement and Miscarriage leave for this financial year. The HRs and managers encourage Paytmers to plan their long leave in advance to fulfill their personal priorities.
With the objective to support Paytmers to cope with the loss of their near and dear ones, the company has introduced Bereavement Leave.
They can apply for bereavement leave after the death of an immediate family member and spend time with them. The bereavement leave can be availed in case of the demise of a near and dear one. This will be a paid leave for a period of 5 working days that can be availed of within 2 weeks of the bereavement.
To support the employees going through a tough time, the company has also introduced Miscarriage Leave for Paytmers. In case of miscarriage or medical termination of pregnancy, they can avail of paid leave of up to 6 weeks under the Maternity Benefit Act, of 1961.
Paytm put the employees’ well-being first and that includes their mental well-being. For this, the company has been arranging sessions with renowned counselors, and conducting yoga sessions for the mental and physical well-being of the employees.
The company also earlier introduced special Covid-19 leave and offered 12 months’ salary to the Paytmers’ family members, who lost their lives due to Covid.
