Bharat Forge Appoints Srinivasu Malladi as SVP and CHRO

Bharat Forge Limited has promoted Srinivasu Malladi to Senior Vice President (SVP) and Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO) to strengthen the company’s leadership team as it grows its global manufacturing and technology work.

In this new role, Srinivasu leads the entire people and culture agenda at the company. He manages HR work for more than 15,000 employees across different business units and locations. His role includes leading HR programs that support company growth, improve employee engagement, and build a strong work culture that supports business goals.

Extensive Experience

He brings over 20 years of HR experience across manufacturing, pharmaceuticals, FMCG, and technology-focused companies.

Before this role, Srinivasu worked as Vice President and Head of HR at Bharat Forge. He worked closely with senior leaders and company promoters to plan and carry out HR programs that focused on company change, talent growth, and workforce skills. He also led HR shared services for the Kalyani Group. In that role, he helped run “hire-to-retire” employee services across several group companies using technology.

Before joining Bharat Forge, he held senior HR roles at several companies. He worked as Senior Director – Human Resources at Jubilant Ingrevia Limited. There, he led HR and industrial relations for manufacturing sites across India. His work also included talent management, succession planning, and building workforce capability.

Earlier in his career, he worked with companies such as Granules India Limited, GSK Consumer Healthcare India, Johnson & Johnson, and Dr. Reddy’s Laboratories. In these roles, he gained strong experience in manufacturing HR, industrial relations, workforce planning, and company change programs.

Srinivasu began his career in the public sector as a civil servant with the Government of Andhra Pradesh. In that role, he worked in development administration and regulatory work linked to cooperative societies and rural development.

He holds an MBA in Human Resource Management from the University of Hyderabad, where he graduated as a gold medalist. He also holds a B.Com (Honours) degree from Osmania University.
