Standard Chartered elevates Rukshila Seneviratne as Head- HR, Sri Lanka

A leading international banking group, Standard Chartered has elevated Rukshila Seneviratne as Head of Human Resources, Sri Lanka.

As a part of a new role, she will be responsible for leading the country’s people strategy.

She has confirmed the appointment on social media and said, “I’m happy to share that I have embarked on an exciting new chapter in my career as Head of Human Resources, Sri Lanka at Standard Chartered!”

Most recently, Rukshila was working as a Senior HR Business Partner with the organization and has been associated with Standard Chartered for over 15 years.

She started her career with Standard Chartered Dubai as an Officer in Consumer Banking Mortgage Operations in May 2008. In June 2013, she joined the HR team to lead HR Service Deliver

She has more than 20 years of professional experience, of which, 10 are in Human Resources Management, covering HR Service Delivery, Performance Rewards & Benefits Delivery, Talent Acquisition, and HR business partnering for Retail Banking, Risk & Support functions.

Her earlier stints include working with National Development Bank PLC (NDB) and The Finance Company PLC. She holds a Master of Business Administration from the Postgraduate Institute of Management.
