Swiggy Strengthens Leadership Team with Key Appointments

Swiggy, India’s leading on-demand convenience platform, has announced strategic additions to its leadership team. These appointments show Swiggy’s commitment to enhancing convenience and efficiency in on-demand services, particularly through its quick commerce platform, Swiggy Instamart.

Himavant Srikrishna Kurnala: Senior Vice President (SVP) and Head of Product, Instamart

Himavant Srikrishna Kurnala, a seasoned professional with over 20 years of experience, joins the company from Reliance Retail. At Reliance, he served as the Chief Product Officer for JioMart, overseeing critical functions such as Product, Program, Design, Analytics, and Marketplace trust.

His impressive career spans companies like Amazon, Microsoft, and Reliance, providing him with extensive expertise in scaling product portfolios and leading high-performance teams. Himavant’s appointment reinforces the company’s commitment to refining its product strategy and elevating customer experience.

Mayank Rajvaidya: Vice President (VP) of Fruits & Vegetables, Swiggy Instamart

Mayank Rajvaidya brings nearly two decades of experience in category management and operations to the on-demand convenience platform.

Previously, he led Amazon’s Consumables Private Brands in India, playing a pivotal role in launching and expanding Amazon Pantry across 300 cities.

Manu Sasidharan: Associate Vice President (AVP) of the FMCG Category, Swiggy Instamart

With over 12 years of experience primarily in the e-commerce sector, Manu Sasidharan joins Swiggy Instamart.

His previous roles at Flipkart and Cleartrip involved business development, setting up new ventures, PnL management, and customer demand optimization.

Kumar Rahul: Associate Vice President (AVP) of Business Development, Lynk by Swiggy

Kumar Rahul, with more than 14 years of experience in digital transformation, marketing, and e-commerce, has joined Lynk. His background includes working with notable companies such as Google, Disney+Hotstar, and Flipkart.
