The Phoenix Mills gets Gautam Srivastava as Director, Head- HR

A textile manufacturing company, The Phoenix Mills Ltd. has appointed Gautam Srivastava as Director and head – HR.

In this role, he will be responsible for driving HR strategies, policies, and processes to support the company’s growth and customer-centricity.

He has confirmed the appointment on social media and said, “I am delighted to share that I have assumed the role of Director & Head of HR at The Phoenix Mills Ltd.” 

“I am passionate about the people transformation journey ahead, aligning HR strategies with our business goals for sustainable growth. Our people are our greatest asset, and I am committed to unlocking their full potential. Excited for what lies ahead!”, he added.

Gautam is a senior HR Leader and an accredited coach with over 25 years of experience across diverse industries, including hospitality, banking, insurance, and Real Estate.

His core competencies include talent attraction, retention, and development, organizational development, HR analytics, performance management, change projects, and leadership development.

Gautam has successfully led HR digital transformations, mergers and acquisitions, talent pipelining, and employer branding initiatives, leveraging technology, data, and empathy to deliver business outcomes and enhance employee experiences.

Prior to The Phoenix Mills Ltd., Gautam was associated with The Leela Palaces, Hotels and Resorts as Group Vice President & Head of HR.

His earlier stints include working with HDFC ERGO General Insurance, ICG Medical, Max Life Insurance Company Limited, Barclays, HSBC, Convergys, and GECIS.

He started his career working with ITC Grand Kakatiya Sheraton Hotel as a Management Trainee.

Gautam Srivastava is an alumnus of the Indian School of Business and holds his Bachelor of Science (B.Sc, Computers) from Osmania University.
