A technologically advanced, education-focused NBFC, Avanse Financial Services Ltd. has announced the appointment of Achal Goel as Chief People Officer, effective November 2023.
Achal will lead the human resource team in developing and implementing best practices, policies, and procedures to support the most important asset people.
He will also oversee and manage the Corporate Social Responsibility framework by developing policies and initiatives in line with the ethical, sustainable, and environmental commitments to achieving holistic growth for the larger community.
He has confirmed the appointment on social media and said, “I’m happy to share that I’m starting a new position as Chief People Officer at Avanse Financial Services Ltd.!”
Achal has over 19 years of experience in various HR domains including talent acquisition, employee relations, business partnering, talent management, stakeholder management, performance management, employee engagement, grievance redressal, people management, knowledge of branch banking, and HR operations/processes.
Prior to Avanse Financial Services Ltd., he was associated with Kotak Mahindra Bank as Senior Vice President and National Lead HR (Vertical HR RM-Priority-NR-CEC-RLHO(Analytics, Digital). In this role, he was responsible for managing the entire HR RM function covering the entire headcount across various lines of business.
Previously he was associated with Citibank India as Assistant Vice President Branch Head.
He holds a Master in Business Administration from Faculty of Management Studies – University of Delhi and completed Bachelor of Technology from J.C. Bose University of Science and Technology, YMCA.
