IIFL Wealth and Asset Management appoints Navin Upadhyaya as CHRO

IIFL Wealth and Asset Management (IIFL WAM), an Indian wealth management firm has appointed Navin Upadhyaya as Chief Human Resource Officer.

In the new role, Navin will be responsible for the overall human resources strategy, with a deep focus on culture, talent management, learning & development, and diversity and inclusion.

Before joining IIFL, he was working with Citi Group as Director HR – Institutional Clients Group – South Asia & Head of HR Sri Lanka and Bangladesh. Previously, he has also worked with esteemed organizations such as IDBI, Standard Chartered, and Blue Dart in HR leadership roles.

He has close to two decades of experience with the financial industry in various different roles and organizations. He has worked with private banking, NBFC, banking & advisory, retail banking, commercial banking, technology, operations, analytics, and corporate functions. 

Also, he has overall HR management and advisory experience covering Institutional & Retail Banking, NBFC’s, Technology, Operation, and Analytics function with growing business line and restructured business line.

Navin has an effective leadership quality for both build teams along with organizational awareness and its growth.

He holds a Master’s degree in Personnel Management from the University of Pune.
