KPMG Appoints Sunit Sinha as Partner and Head – People, Performance and Culture

KPMG ropes in former Managing Director, Strategy & Consulting – Talent & Organization of Accenture India, Sunit Sinha as Partner and Head – People, Performance and Culture. In his new role, he will lead the HR function for all of KPMG’s businesses based out of India.

Sunit replaces Unmesh Pawar who resigned from the company in the month of October 2020, and will leave the company in March 2021.

At Accenture, Sunit has played a number of roles across Asia Pacific, Middle East and India. He led the Talent & Organization practice for India. He specializes in the future of work, culture transformation, leadership development, post-merger integration, and organization design and effectiveness.

Sumit has over two decades of consulting and HR experience across multiple industries working in areas such as M&A, organization design, business transformation, leadership, learning transformation, and organization effectiveness. He has worked with clients in North America, UK, South Asia, South East Asia, and the Middle East across a variety of industries, including automotive, shipping & logistics, financial services, metals & mining, power & infrastructure, consumer goods, and technology.

Previously, Sunit has also worked with Mercer as Principal and M&A Consulting Business Leader. His interests include the frontiers of science, military history and strategy, and working to strengthen civil society and public debate.

He holds a master’s degree in human resources from XLRI Jamshedpur.
