SBI Mutual Fund appoints Rajat Grover as CHRO

One of the world’s leading fund management companies, SBI Mutual Fund has announced the appointment of Rajat Grover as Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO).

Rajat has confirmed the development on social media and said, “Happy to share that I am starting a new position as Chief Human Resources Officer at SBI MUTUAL FUND.”

Rajat Grover is a passionate and result-oriented HR professional with 19+ years of experience. He has been part of 5 organizations from their nascent stage and has proven ability to enhance employee experience and scale up businesses from scratch.

Rajat has handled various HR roles at the National, Regional & Strategic level. He has successfully conceptualized and implemented various complex and high-impacting HR projects, organizational restructurings, and change management initiatives. He is also a certified Happiness Life Coach.

Prior to SBI Mutual Fund, Rajat was associated with Fullerton India Credit Company Ltd. as GM & Head of Business HR.

Previously, he was President – Human Resources at YES BANK. In this role, he was responsible for conceptualizing and executing HR plans/strategies as per the strategy of the respective Business Unit (Talent Acquisition, Talent Engagement, Talent Management, Talent Development, Succession Planning, Attrition Management, Appraisal Management, HR process management, Change Management, various analysis, etc.)

Earlier, Rajat worked with Reliance Retail Ltd. as Manager – HR and SAP HCM Functional Consultant + Project Manager (SAP e-Recruitment). He joined this organization at its nascent stage and was actively involved in setting up the Human Resource Department and scaling up.

Before this, Rajat worked with IDBI Bank Ltd. as Zonal HR Manager (West). He was handling Branch Banking HR for West 1 Zone (Mumbai, Rest of Maharashtra & Goa) & West 2 Zone (Rajasthan & Gujarat).

Rajat holds a Ph.D. in Business Management from Chitkara University. He completed his M.P.M, Human Resources from Indira Institute of Management.
