Suzlon appoints Rajendra Mehta as group CHRO

One of the leading renewable energy solutions providers, Suzlon has announced the appointment of Rajendra Mehta as group chief human resource officer for India and South Asia.

Rajendra joins Suzlon Group on December 12th, 2022. He has comprehensive experience of over 27 years in developing and executing strategic Human Resources agendas of organizations.

Rajendra has gained international exposure in the US, Africa, Latin America, Europe, and MENAP regions. He has in-depth industry exposure in Internet / E-Commerce, Retail, Media/entertainment, and Engineering companies.

Rajendra joins Suzlon from Welspun Group where he was associated as President & Group CHRO.

Earlier, Rajendra was associated with Synergy Capital as an Executive Director – Synergy Capital. In this role, he was working along with Investee companies in building their People Practice frameworks to speed up the opportunity for transformation as businesses are all about people.

Before joining Synergy Capital, he has been associated as Chief People Officer with DHFL, and as Global Chief People Officer with Zee Entertainment Enterprises Limited.

Previously, he also worked with DCM Shriram Consolidated Limited, VNL, Bennett Coleman and Co. Ltd. (Times Group), Allied Deals – London & Latin America, Larsen & Toubro Limited, and KEC International Ltd in HR leadership roles.

Rajendra holds a Master’s in Personnel Management, Human Resources from J.D.C. Bytco Institute of Management Studies and Research, Nashik.
