FIST, IIT Patna is offering Internship Opportunity; last date is 5 April

Applications are invited from motivated and young energetic aspiring students who are in 2nd/3rd Year of their Engineering Degree with an excellent academic record for internship opportunities at FIST, IIT PATNA.

Foundation for Innovators in Science and Technology (FIST) at IIT Patna is developed under the NIDHITBI initiative of the Ministry of Science & Technology, Department of Science & Technology, Government of India. It is registered as a section 8 company under the Ministry of Corporate Affairs.

FIST, IIIT Patna will offer 3 months Internship to a limited number of students from engineering streams. The interns are expected to work closely with FIST startup teams and upon successful completion, an internship certificate will be provided by FIST, IIT Patna.

Skills Required

• Good written and verbal communication skills in English & Hindi.
• Hardworking and dedicated outlook.
• Ability to multi-task and take initiative.
• Ability to take direction and absorb information quickly.
• Computer Skills like M S office, Google Meets, WebEx.

Works to be Performed

• Assisting Technical Engineers in R&D works
• Assisting the Start-up in their Product Development & R&D works
• Able to work in the Design, prototype development and Testing phase of Incubatees/startup projects.
• Assisting FIST TBI in day-to-day Operations.
• Works assigned by PIC FIST TBI

Eligibility

1. B. Tech (CSE/ IT/AI & Data Science/ Electrical/Electronics & Communication/ME/Civil/ Environmental Sc or Engg./Agriculture/Water Resources Engg./Chemical Biochemical/ Metallurgical and Materials Engineering)
2. Student who is in 2nd or 3rd year of their Engineering Programme.
3. Minimum percentage of 60% marks

• Period of the Internship: 3 months (May to July, 2023).
• Venue/Location: FIST, IIT Patna office. 5TH FLOOR (LEFT), BLOCK-9, INDIAN INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY PATNA, BIHTA, PATNA, and BIHAR, INDIA, 801106.
• Timings: Monday to Friday, 10:00 am to 6:00 pm
• Last Date: 5th April 2023
• Monthly Stipend: INR 5000.00
• Maximum No. of Positions: 10
