HCLTech Sets Up 5,000-Seat Facility in Hyderabad’s Hitech City

HCLTech, a global technology company, is set to inaugurate a new 5,000-seat global delivery centre in Hyderabad’s IT hub, Hitech City.

This expansion underscores HCLTech’s commitment to enhancing its global delivery footprint and providing cutting-edge solutions to its clients.

HCLTech New Facility Details

The new facility, spread over 3.2 lakh sq ft, will accommodate around 5,000 employees.

This addition takes HCLTech’s total capacity in Hyderabad to 8,500 seats across five development centres.

The new centre will focus on delivering cloud, AI, and digital transformation solutions to global clients across various industries, including hi-tech, life sciences, and financial services.

The new facility has received Gold Certification from the Indian Green Building Council, highlighting HCLTech’s commitment to sustainable business practices.

The company aims to contribute to the local technology ecosystem while maintaining high standards of environmental responsibility.

CEO’s Statement

C Vijayakumar, CEO and Managing Director of HCLTech, emphasized the significance of Hyderabad as a key location in the company’s global network.

He stated, “With its world-class infrastructure and high-quality talent pool, Hyderabad has been a key location on HCLTech’s global network.”

Vijayakumar added, “The new centre will bring cutting-edge capabilities to our global client base and contribute to the local technology ecosystem.”

HCLTech has had a presence in Hyderabad since 2007, and the new facility marks another milestone in the company’s growth in the region.

The city’s esteemed institutions, such as the Indian School of Business (ISB), International Institute of Information Technology (IIIT), and Osmania University, support a strong talent pipeline, making it an ideal location for HCLTech’s expansion.

With the inauguration of the new facility, HCLTech aims to further strengthen its position as a global leader in technology services and solutions.
