An Indian multinational information technology company, Infosys through its Infosys Springboard is offering digital skills free of cost.

What is Infosys Springboard?

Infosys Springboard is a Digital literacy program launched as part of the Infosys ESG Tech for Good charter. It aims to enable students and associated communities from early education to lifelong learners by imparting digital and life skills through curated content & interventions, free of cost.

Infosys Springboard brings digital and life skills for students from class 6 to lifelong learners in India.

It has delivered free through Infosys CSR commitment to empowering 10 million-plus people with digital skills by 2025, it provides a holistic set of courses, developed in collaboration with world-leading digital educators like Coursera and Harvard Business Publishing. It is fully aligned with India’s National Education Policy 2020.

  2. Step 2: The website will direct you to the official portal (Login in case you are a member or in case of New user click on Register.

The learning program is particularly well-suited to grow vocational skills in addition to soft skills. Masterclasses, programming challenges, practice areas, and playgrounds for experimentation make the training immersive for all.

The assessment formats that follow are new-age ready with certification for learners who pass the virtual proctored examination.

As per the records, nearly 400,000 learners and 300+ education institutions, NGOs, and support groups are already onboard Infosys Springboard.

The future of India will be shaped by today’s younger generation who need quality education through digital literacy, making them productive and self-reliant citizens.

‘Digital literacy’ is the skills required to achieve digital competence and use of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) for work, leisure, learning, and communication.

It does not replace traditional forms of literacy, instead complements and amplifies the skills that form the foundation of traditional forms.
