Bharti AXA Life Insurance has announced the launch of its flagship apprenticeship program, BIMA BHARTI, aimed at empowering young talent and women in the insurance sector.

This initiative is part of the National Apprenticeship Training Scheme (NATS), introduced in the Union Budget 2025, and aligns with the Government of India’s vision of youth empowerment and skill development.

The program seeks to provide structured training opportunities for undergraduates and graduates, equipping them with the necessary skills to build a sustainable career in the insurance industry.

Bharti AXA Life Insurance Expanding Opportunities for Apprentices

Bharti AXA Life Insurance has already onboarded 200 apprentices under the BIMA BHARTI program.

It now plans to hire an additional 600 apprentices, bringing the total to 800 apprentices nationwide.

The initiative places a special focus on hiring women, aiming to narrow the gender gap in the insurance sector.

Apprentices will be trained in diverse roles, including marketing, business development, customer service, and recruitment, ensuring a comprehensive learning experience.

Government Collaboration and Skill Development

By aligning with the government’s apprenticeship schemes, Bharti AXA Life Insurance aims to foster career growth and build a future-ready workforce.

The company has designed tailor-made onboarding and mentoring programs to equip young professionals with industry-relevant skills.

Upon successfully completing the program, apprentices will receive certification from the Government of India.

This certification will be recognized across employment exchanges nationwide.

Bharti AXA: Performance-Based Incentives and Career Growth

Bharti AXA Life Insurance has introduced performance-based incentives to make the apprenticeship experience more rewarding.

These incentives enable apprentices to increase their earnings throughout the program.

The company is Great Place To Work certified and ranked among the Top 25 in the BFSI sector, reflecting its commitment to excellence.

It aims to provide apprentices with a strong foundation for long-term career growth.
