Deloitte India Impact Day 2024: Event Overview
Held in two phases on November 29 and December 13, the 2024 Impact Day saw volunteers from diverse career levels and domains come together to dedicate an entire workday to various noble causes.
These included sustainability, support for persons with disabilities, LGBTQIA+ inclusion, skills empowerment, education, and animal welfare.
The event not only involved organization-supported projects but also empowered volunteer leaders to identify non-profit organizations and design day-long programs in collaboration with internal teams.
Volunteers chose initiatives that aligned with their personal passions and purpose, allowing them to engage in meaningful activities beyond their daily professional responsibilities.
Leadership Perspectives
Saraswathi Kasturirangan, Chief Happiness Officer, Deloitte India said, “Impact Day holds a special place in our hearts—it’s more than a tradition; it’s a reflection of our shared purpose.”
She added, “Through these initiatives, we’re not just giving back to our communities; we’re also enriching our own lives with a sense of purpose and connection.”
