SightsIn Plus and Prajjo HR held a roundtable talk on Saturday, June 07, 2025, at Crowne Plaza, Mayur Vihar, New Delhi.

The topic for the roundtable discussion was “Misaligned KRAs – A Key Reason Behind Organizational Failure?” It brought together senior HR professionals to talk about how unclear or mismatched Key Result Areas (KRAs) often lead to missed goals and weak team output.

The event brought in HR heads, business leaders, and company owners who shared real problems and practical ways to fix KRA issues. The group agreed that when employees don’t see how their goals fit into company plans, work tends to go off course.

HR leaders from several organizations, such as JK Lakshmi Cement Ltd., Emerson Automation, Magicbricks, Bal Bharati Public School, Keller Ground Engineering India, StudyIn, DataFlow Group, Munjal Auto Industries Limited, Kyndryl, AgreeYa Solutions, Vikas Group, GlobalLogic Technologies, and Insight, etc. took part in the discussion.

Speakers talked about how to catch early signs when things are off, link job roles with company plans, and keep communication open. They also talked about the need to check in often and give feedback so KRAs stay useful as things change.

Rajesh Tripathi, CEO of Prajjo HR, said, “KRAs need to be living documents. When roles shift or priorities change, our goals should reflect that. Otherwise, teams get stuck working toward the wrong thing.”

Romesh Srivastava, Editor-in-Chief at SightsIn Plus, added, “It’s not that people aren’t trying—it’s that they often don’t know where they’re headed. A clear KRA gives them direction and purpose.”

The session ended with a common view: fixing this is not hard, but it takes steady work. With clear goals and regular check-ins, teams can stay on track and get better results.
