Microsoft has appointed Shipra Saraf as Head of HR Consulting for India and South Asia, marking a pivotal moment in the tech giant’s regional talent strategy.
With over 18 years of diverse HR experience, Shipra brings deep expertise in organizational transformation, talent strategy, and leadership development to one of the world’s most influential technology companies.
Her appointment comes at a time when Microsoft is intensifying its focus on AI-powered workplace transformation, hybrid workforce enablement, and inclusive leadership across its South Asia operations.
A Career Built on Transformation and Strategic HR Leadership
Prior to joining Microsoft, Shipra Saraf served as Head of HR for India at Kenvue, the world’s largest pure-play consumer health company by revenue.
During her tenure, she led the company’s people strategy, employee experience, and organizational design initiatives.
Her earlier career includes nearly a decade at Johnson & Johnson, where she held multiple leadership roles such as:
- Head HR – Supply Chain & Data Science
- HR Head – Shared Services
- HR Analytics & Enterprise L&D
- HR Lead – Workforce Analytics and Special Projects
Shipra began her HR journey at EY, where she rose from Consultant to Senior Consultant in the People & Organization Practice, advising clients across industries on transformation projects and strategic HR delivery.
She holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Personnel Management & Industrial Relations (PMIR) from XLRI Jamshedpur, one of India’s premier HR institutions.
