Tesla Announces Internship Hiring Across Major Cities in India

Tesla has started a new internship hiring effort in India, inviting students and recent graduates to apply in several large cities.

Tesla is hiring Sales Trainee/Interns in eight cities: Delhi, Mumbai, Gurugram, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Chennai, Pune, and Ahmedabad.

The roles focus on customer-facing work and are aimed at supporting Tesla’s early retail and outreach efforts in India.

Role and Responsibilities

Selected interns will work at Tesla Experience Centers and act as front-line representatives of the brand.

Their tasks include speaking with visitors about Tesla vehicles and features, helping organize and support test drives, assisting with customer profiles, and keeping sales records up to date.

The role offers hands-on exposure outside a typical desk job.

Eligibility and Skills

The internship does not require prior work experience. Tesla is looking for candidates with strong communication skills, a professional attitude, and an interest in cars and clean energy.

A valid driver’s license with a clean record is required, as interns may help with test drives.

Tesla entered the Indian market in mid-2025 with the launch of the Model Y SUV, priced from about ₹59.89 lakh (ex-showroom).

The car is imported, with experience centers in Mumbai, New Delhi, and Gurugram. Deliveries of the rear-wheel-drive version started in late 2025.
