Edunet Foundation, in collaboration with Microsoft, has announced the Microsoft Elevate | Azure Internship for the January 2026 batch, offering students across India an opportunity to build foundational cloud computing skills.

The virtual internship is scheduled to begin immediately and will run for a total duration of six weeks, following a structured four-week learning model.

Open to candidates across India, the program is designed to introduce learners to Microsoft Azure fundamentals through a blend of conceptual understanding and hands-on practice.

With 5,000 openings available, the initiative aims to democratize access to cloud education and prepare students for real-world technology roles.

Learning Structure, Mentorship, and Certification

The internship curriculum focuses on core cloud concepts, Azure architecture components, identity and access management, networking, storage solutions, and deployment fundamentals.

Participants will engage in mentor-led Azure sessions facilitated by experienced professionals, ensuring guided learning and practical exposure. The program emphasizes hands-on cloud implementation, enabling students to work directly with cloud resources and complete a real-world Azure project.

To complete the internship, participants must maintain attendance, finish mandatory courses, and submit a final project.

Upon completion, students will receive Microsoft Elevate Certificates along with AICTE and Microsoft credentials, adding significant value to their academic and professional profiles.

While the internship is unpaid, it offers one academic credit and industry-recognized certifications that enhance employability in cloud and digital technology domains.

Eligibility, Application Details, and Important Criteria

The internship is open to students currently pursuing B.Tech or B.Sc. in Computer Science or CSE-related fields, with no restriction on specialization. Applicants must be available for the full six-week duration and demonstrate relevant interest in cloud technologies.
