TCS Opens NQT Hiring for 2024–2026 Batch, Deadline – March 20

Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) has opened applications for its All India National Qualifier Test (NQT) hiring drive.

Engineering and postgraduate students from the 2024, 2025, and 2026 batches can apply. The drive offers roles in the Prime and Digital tracks, focused on technology positions within the company.

Eligibility and Experience

The hiring drive is open to candidates with BE/BTech, ME/MTech, MCA, and MSc degrees (CS/IT and related fields) from AICTE or UGC approved institutions. Applicants with 0–2 years of relevant work experience can apply, based on TCS academic and selection rules.

Compensation Details

Under the Prime track, freshers with 0–1 year of experience can expect:

  • ₹9.09–9.30 LPA for undergraduates
  • ₹11.59–11.80 LPA for postgraduates

Candidates with 1–2 years of experience may receive:

  • ₹9.45–9.66 LPA (UG)
  • ₹12.05–12.26 LPA (PG)

Under the Digital track, freshers may receive:

  • ₹7.09–7.30 LPA (UG)
  • ₹7.39–7.60 LPA (PG)

Professionals with 1–2 years of experience may earn:

  • ₹7.50–7.72 LPA (UG)
  • ₹7.82–8.04 LPA (PG)

Final pay will depend on experience and job location.

Key Dates and How to Apply

Registration for TCS NQT Hiring started on February 18, 2026, and will close on March 20, 2026. The in-center test will begin on March 10, 2026.

Candidates must apply through the TCS NextStep Portal under the “IT” category. To complete the process, applicants need to select “Apply for Drive.” They must also choose their preferred skill for evaluation, test center location, and job location.

Important Information

TCS planned to recruit around 42,000 fresh graduates in FY26 (ending March 2026), building on previous levels of campus hiring after industry hiring recovery.

TCS has stated that all official test updates will be sent through TCS iON, its authorized assessment partner. The company does not charge any fees during hiring and does not send job offers from free email services.

Shortlisted candidates must bring original academic documents for verification during interviews. Eligibility will be checked at every stage of the selection process.
