Sony Pictures Network MD and CEO NP Singh to step down

The consumer-facing identity of Culver Max Entertainment Private Limited, Sony Pictures Network Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer NP Singh will step down from his role.

NP Singh has held the positions of Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer at Multi Screen Media Pvt. Ltd. (Sony Entertainment) since 2014.

His journey with the company began in 1999 when he was appointed Chief Financial Officer. His exemplary performance and dedication led to his promotion in 2004 when he assumed the role of Chief Operating Officer.

His extensive experience and leadership skills have been instrumental in steering the company toward achieving its strategic goals and maintaining its competitive edge in the entertainment industry.

Over the years, NP Singh has been recognized for his contributions and has established himself as a key figure in the media and entertainment sector.

NP Singh said, “Today, I have a significant update to share. After nearly 44 years in my career, including a rewarding 25-year tenure at SPNI, I have decided to move on from my role as MD and CEO.”

“I will continue to lead SPNI until we find the right person to take over. We have begun a structured succession planning process for my successor and hope to have exciting news to share in the near future. Finding the right fit is our top priority,” he said.

His leadership has not only strengthened the company’s market position but has also paved the way for numerous innovations and advancements within the organization.

Prior to Sony Pictures Network, His earlier stints include working with Spice Telecom, Modicorp, Modi Xerox Limited, and Hindustan Copper Limited.

He holds his master’s degree from the Delhi School of Economics and completed his Bachelors’ degree in Commerce from the University of Delhi.
