Accenture Federal Services Ex-CEO John Goodman’s Legacy

John Goodman’s tenure as CEO has been nothing short of remarkable. Under his leadership, AFS doubled in size, expanding its workforce to 15,500 dedicated professionals.

The company climbed the ranks on the Washington Technology Top 100 federal industry list. They rose from No. 13 to No. 9. But John’s impact extends beyond numbers:

Investment in Emerging Technologies: AFS under John’s guidance increased its investment in emerging technologies. They ensured it remains agile and adaptable in a rapidly evolving landscape.

Acquisitions: The strategic acquisitions of Novetta and Cognosante bolstered AFS’s capabilities, enhancing its ability to serve clients effectively.

“Over his incredible career, John has contributed enormously to the growth and success of Accenture Federal Services,” added Julie.

“His leadership and commitment set new standards for how to serve clients, grow the business, embrace new technologies and ways of working, and bring everyone along on the journey. We wish him all the best in his next exciting chapter,” she said.

“I’m incredibly grateful to our people at Accenture Federal Services for everything they have done for our clients, our company, and each other,” said John.

He added, “I am confident that Ron will keep our company at the forefront of change and continue to meet the US federal government’s most important needs.”
