Boston Consulting Group (BCG) has elevated Athira Asokan as Partner, marking a significant milestone in her distinguished consulting career.

Prior to this elevation, Athira served as a Principal at BCG for over 2.5 years, having joined the firm in 2019 as a Consultant.

Over the years, she has built a strong reputation for driving high-impact growth and transformation initiatives across industries.

Extensive Experience

Athira Asokan currently works extensively in the digital, e-commerce, and ed-tech space, advising organizations on scaling platforms, building new digital businesses, and accelerating go-to-market strategies.

Her core expertise spans growth strategy, go-to-market acceleration, e-commerce build, route-to-market design, new business creation, digital marketing, market entry strategy, and change management.

She is widely recognized for leveraging deep consumer insights and advanced analytics to deliver measurable and sustainable business outcomes.

Before joining Boston Consulting Group in 2019, Athira worked withAccenture as a Strategy Consultant, where she was part of the consumer insights and growth strategy practice, advising clients on large-scale strategic transformations.

She is an alumna of IIM Ahmedabad (2014–16 batch), actively involved in career and art clubs and volunteering initiatives focused on educating underprivileged children.

Earlier, Athira gained industry experience at Indian Oil, working across operations management, sales and distribution, and vendor and inventory management.

She holds a B.Tech in Electrical & Electronics Engineering from the College of Engineering, Thiruvananthapuram, and was the University of Kerala Topper.
