Fujitsu Appoints Shilpa Sharma as Head – Human Resources

Fujitsu, a global leader in digital services, has appointed Shilpa Sharma as Head – Human Resources.

In her new role, Shilpa will be responsible for leading the entire HR gamut, including workforce planning, leadership development, talent acquisition, learning and development, and employee engagement, etc.

She will work closely with business leaders to build scalable HR frameworks that support growth, operational efficiency, and organisational effectiveness.

Extensive Experience

Shilpa Sharma is an accomplished HR professional with extensive experience in the information technology and services sector. Her career spans consulting, engineering, and technology services, equipping her with the skills to manage diverse and distributed workforces across varied organisational contexts.

Prior to joining Fujitsu, Shilpa held HR leadership and specialist roles across leading global and Indian organisations, including EDB, Bentley Systems, Birlasoft, Tata Consultancy Services, Forbes Marshall, and Compare Infobase Limited.

Her tenure at Tata Consultancy Services, spanning over 11 years, saw her drive performance management, career and leadership development, succession planning, employee engagement, retention initiatives, HR analytics, audits, induction, surveys, and cross-functional collaboration.

Shilpa brings deep expertise in HR strategy, talent management, organisational development, employee relations, and change management, consistently aligning people practices with business objectives and long-term organisational priorities.

Her Techno-HR background, combining a Master’s degree in Personnel Management (HR) from Savitribai Phule Pune University with a B.Tech in Information Technology from IEC College of Engineering and Technology.
