Greenply Industries Appoints Nagendra Acharya as Group CHRO

Nagendra Acharya has been elevated to Group Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO) at Greenply Industries Limited.

In this role, Nagendra will lead the company’s HR strategy across all divisions, managing talent, leadership development, organizational effectiveness, and company culture—key areas that support Greenply’s long-term growth and sustainability goals.

Extensive Experience

He brings two decades of HR experience, developing strong skills in team building, training, business development, presentations, and customer handling. At Greenply Industries, where he has spent over ten years, Nagendra has played a key role in shaping the company’s HR approach.

Before becoming Group CHRO, he served as Senior Vice President – Human Resources & Administration, strengthening leadership capabilities, enhancing employee engagement, and developing HR systems to support business needs. His work has focused on building a performance-driven, values-focused culture.

Earlier in his career, he gained experience with global companies such as Tech Mahindra, IBM, and EXL, gaining broad exposure in talent management, employee relations, and learning and development. He holds a PG Certificate in HR Management from XLRI, an Executive Programme from IIM Ahmedabad, and a B.Com from Bhawanipur College.

As Group CHRO, Nagendra Acharya will focus on preparing Greenply’s workforce for the future, building strong leadership pipelines, and promoting a culture that encourages innovation, flexibility, and long-term growth.
