PepsiCo Names Gunjan Mittal as Director – GTM & L&D Operations

PepsiCo has elevated Gunjan Mittal to Director – Global Talent Management and Learning Operations.

In this new capacity, she will continue to lead strategic initiatives focused on enhancing learning effectiveness and driving global talent development across the organization.

Prior to this elevation, Gunjan served as Associate Director – Global Talent Management and Learning Operations. In that role, she was instrumental in delivering scalable HR solutions and driving operational excellence within the talent and learning ecosystem.

Gunjan joined PepsiCo in 2019 and has since played a key role in the Talent Management and Learning & Development space.

Her contributions have significantly influenced PepsiCo’s people strategy, underpinned by data-driven insights and a focus on enriching employee experience.

Extensive Background & Expertise

Gunjan brings over two decades of diverse HR experience across global organizations.

Before joining PepsiCo in 2019, she spent 14 years at Deloitte, where she held leadership roles in talent acquisition, compensation, employee lifecycle management, and shared services.

She also began her career at ICICI Bank, gaining early exposure to core HR functions.

At PepsiCo, Gunjan has been instrumental in advancing the company’s talent agenda. She has led strategic initiatives in HR analytics, reporting, and global transformation, elevating learning delivery and enhancing the overall people experience.

Her strong focus on data-driven decision-making and operational excellence has contributed to building a more agile, scalable, and future-ready HR function.

Gunjan holds a Bachelor of Science (BSc), Genetics from Osmania University and earned an MBA in Human Resources from Symbiosis Institute of Management Studies.
