PwC Appoints Pushpa Nalavade as MD – Business Services

Pushpa Nalavade has been appointed as MD-Business Services Delivery, Acceleration Centres in India at PwC.

This appointment comes as PwC continues to expand its operations and drive innovation in business services.

Prior to this, Pushpa was Managing Director – Global Business Operations at Accenture.

Role & Responsibilities at PwC

In her new role at PwC, Pushpa will oversee the strategic direction, transformation, execution, and quality of acceleration centres across India.

Her focus will be on leveraging her extensive expertise to drive significant value and innovation at PwC.

She is expected to enhance PwC’s position in the marketplace through her deep understanding of multi-capability service offerings and matrix environments.

Pushpa has a deep commitment to inclusion and diversity, having led numerous initiatives supporting various communities, including International Women’s Day, People with Disabilities, and Pride.

Her efforts have earned her several accolades, including recognition for advancing supplier diversity and the International Brandon Hall award for Learning & Development.

About Pushpa Nalavade

Pushpa Nalavade brings over two decades of experience in transformation, strategy, business development, and team leadership.

Before joining PwC, she had a successful tenure at Accenture, where she held various leadership positions, including Managing Director -Global Business Operations.

Her extensive experience in managing complex organizational operations and leading shared services transformation initiatives makes her a valuable addition to PwC.

Pushpa’s career journey includes roles at IBM as the Global Strategy & Planning Leader and at Fidelity Investments as the Head of Strategic Business Development & Transitions.

She also spent seven years at Cummins India, contributing to strategic programs and operational excellence projects.

Earlier in her career, she worked as a Station Manager at private airlines in India, managing end-to-end operations and client relations.

Before joining PwC, Pushpa took a period of personal and professional enrichment as a Passionpreneur.

During this time, she engaged in multiple ventures, including publishing a poetry collection, gaining expertise in the semiconductor industry, and mentoring startups.

Her book, “The Hidden Wings,” is available on several major platforms.
