BlackRock Appoints Dipeeka as Vice President – HR & ER, APAC
Global asset management firm BlackRock has appointed Dipeeka Walvatkar Pendurkar as Vice President – HR, Employee Relations (APAC).
In this new role, she will lead complex workplace investigations covering conduct, discrimination, harassment, and policy breaches, ensuring fair and legally compliant outcomes aligned with global standards.
Dipeeka will advise business leaders and HR teams on disciplinary actions, redundancies, and sensitive employee matters, while guiding ER strategy during M&A, restructuring, and market expansion.
Partnering with Legal, Compliance, and HR stakeholders, she will mitigate risk, strengthen governance frameworks, and enhance operational excellence across the Asia-Pacific region.
Extensive Experience and Background
Before joining BlackRock, Dipeeka built a strong HR leadership portfolio across global organizations. At ByteDance, she served for over six years as HR Operations Leader and POSH Internal Committee Chairperson, leading India HR operations and supporting APAC HR services teams.
She managed employee relations investigations, compliance, benefits operations, and large-scale HR transformation initiatives while driving process automation and governance enhancements.
Earlier, at Amazon, she held multiple HR services leadership roles, contributing to employee lifecycle management, HR strategy execution, engagement initiatives, and dashboard-driven decision-making.
She also worked with BNY Mellon in HR Operations, supporting employee relations programs and audit processes. Dipeeka began her professional journey with Cipla as an HR intern.
She holds an MBA in Human Resources and a Bachelor of Pharmacy degree, bringing over a decade of cross-industry HR expertise.
