Tata Technologies offered career opportunity to InnoVent 2023 finalists

A global product engineering and digital services company, Tata Technologies has recently announced the conclusion of the 1st edition of InnoVent hackathon.

InnoVent hackathon was an innovation platform that provides young engineering students in India with an opportunity to showcase their creativity and innovate solutions to address the challenges being faced by the manufacturing industry.

Tata Technologies InnoVent was launched in July 2023 to inspire young engineering students In India to showcase their creativity and innovate solutions across areas like Electric Vehicles, Autonomous Vehicles, Cybersecurity, Generative Artificial Intelligence (GAI), and the Internet of Things (IoT).

The hackathon saw enthusiastic participation from 2,696 budding engineers across 229 colleges in India submitting 814 unique projects, culminating into the final Demo Day.

This initiative marks a significant milestone in the company’s engagement with the academic community, fostering innovation and creativity among young engineering talents across India, helping engineer better careers.

Mr. Santosh Singh, EVP and Global Head, Marketing and Business Excellence at Tata Technologies, added, “The students today will innovate some of the biggest solutions in next few years. It is important for us to support, mentor, and empower these young engineering minds, equipping them with the skills necessary for a successful career.”

“The enthusiasm and creativity displayed by these young innovators exceeded our expectations and reinforced our belief in the power of innovation in engineering a better world”, Santosh Singh added.

Santosh Singh further added, “We are delighted that we were able to offer them not only cash prizes and learnings but also job opportunities to all the finalists.”

The company has offered 34 team members from the top 10 teams an opportunity to start their careers with them.
