Bank of America Elevates Gaurav Rana as Vice President – HR

Bank of America has elevated Gaurav Rana as Vice President – Human Resources, effective February 2026. He is based in Hyderabad, Telangana.

In his new role, Gaurav steers strategic talent priorities for the Enterprise Control Functions and Operational Excellence teams within Bank of America’s Global Business Services entity.

He partners closely with senior leaders to deliver consultative HR solutions, strengthen the end-to-end talent lifecycle, and enhance employee experience across a workforce of nearly 1,000 employees.

Extensive Experience

Gaurav’s elevation follows a successful tenure of over four years as Assistant Vice President – Human Resources, during which he played a pivotal role in driving strategic and critical talent initiatives.

His responsibilities included advising leadership on workforce planning, performance management, leadership development, and organizational effectiveness, while ensuring alignment between human capital strategies and business objectives.

Prior to joining Bank of America, Rana served as a Talent Business Advisor at Deloitte India (Offices of the US), where he led initiatives spanning talent reviews, performance management, and compensation planning.

His professional journey also includes leadership and consulting roles at Wipro, Willis Towers Watson, Cognizant, and HSBC, providing him with deep expertise across HR transformation, rewards, talent management, and talent acquisition.

Gaurav Rana holds an MBA in HR from Symbiosis and a Bachelor of Science, Mathematics and Computer Science from Andhra University.
