Hitachi Energy Appoints Amit Mishra as Regional Head – Total Rewards, India & South Asia
Hitachi Energy has appointed Amit as Regional Head – Total Rewards, India & South Asia, reinforcing its people leadership framework across the region.
Based in Bengaluru, Amit assumed the role in February 2026 and will oversee the compensation and benefits strategy in alignment with global objectives and regional business priorities.
He will also drive performance-linked reward programs, policy harmonisation, and talent retention initiatives across key markets.
Extensive Experience and Background
Before joining Hitachi Energy, Amit spent over eight years with Landis+Gyr, most recently serving as Global Rewards Expert. There, he collaborated with global cross-functional teams to strengthen compensation and benefits frameworks, ensuring alignment with governance standards and evolving business needs.
He also held key leadership roles, including Deputy General Manager – HR (India Business & GDC) and Senior Manager – Talent Management & Total Rewards, where he led talent strategy, rewards design, and HR operations.
Earlier in his career, Amit held HR leadership positions at Intex Technologies, Religare Health Insurance, Jakson Group, NDDB Dairy Services, India Glycols Limited, and Schneider Electric.
Amit holds an Executive Programme in Talent Analytics & HRM from Indian Institute of Management Lucknow and a Master’s in Management Sciences (HR) from University of Lucknow.
