HSBC Elevates Parul Balana as VP– Global People Business Partner

HSBC has elevated Parul Balana to Vice President – Global People Business Consulting, Group Infrastructure.

In this role, Parul will work with senior leaders on people strategy, workforce planning, and better team performance. Her work will include building strong leadership pipelines, supporting succession planning, and improving employee engagement across global teams.

Extensive Experience

Before this elevation, she served as Assistant Vice President – HR Consulting, Group Infrastructure at HSBC from July 2025 to February 2026.

Earlier, she worked as Assistant Vice President – HR Consulting for Wealth & Personal Banking and Global Functions, where she supported HR consulting work, workforce planning, and people change programs.

Before joining HSBC, she worked with several well-known firms in consulting and technology. She was an Assistant Manager at KPMG Global Services, where she worked on HR consulting and workforce planning projects.

Before that, she was a Senior Consultant at PwC India and worked on people advisory and organization strategy work for large clients.

Earlier in her career, she spent close to four years at Infosys in roles related to organization development and HR leadership across Bengaluru and Hyderabad.
