Resonia Ltd., a major player in India’s power transmission sector, has officially appointed Prashant Sinha as its Chief Executive Officer.

Prashant, who previously served as the company’s Chief Operating Officer (COO), succeeds to the top leadership role during a critical juncture for India’s energy transition.

His appointment underscores Resonia’s commitment to scaling large-scale inter and intra-regional transmission projects.

Internal Promotion to Lead Next Growth Phase

Prashant Sinha’s elevation to CEO follows a successful tenure as COO, where he was instrumental in managing Resonia’s project portfolio and business acquisitions.

During his time as COO, Prashant was a key architect in strengthening project execution and driving operational excellence.

Pratik Agarwal, Chairman of Resonia, highlighted Prashant’s “deep sector expertise” and his proven track record in executing complex infrastructure projects at scale.

Pratik noted that Prashant’s leadership has already advanced the mechanization of transmission building, which is vital for delivering critical power corridors across the country.

A Veteran with Three Decades of Expertise

Prashant brings nearly 30 years of experience across the power, infrastructure, and financial sectors to the role.

His diverse professional background includes leadership stints at prominent organizations such as ICRA, L&T Infrastructure Finance, Suzlon Wind Energy, and Tata Consulting Engineers.

An Electrical Engineering graduate from BIT Mesra with management credentials from IIM Indore, Prashant is widely recognized for his people-centric leadership and his focus on disciplined execution.

Industry experts particularly know him for championing mechanization and digital integration in construction.

Resonia Focus on Innovation and Clean Energy Integration

Under Prashant’s leadership, Resonia aims to leverage cutting-edge technologies to optimize grid efficiency.

The company has already distinguished itself by adopting drone-based stringing and helical pile foundations. It also utilizes double arm gin pole assisted tower erection.

These innovations are designed to speed up project delivery and reduce environmental impact in difficult terrains.

Prashant emphasized that India’s energy transition requires the grid to expand at “unprecedented scale and speed.”

His primary focus will be building reliable infrastructure to enable the seamless integration of renewable energy. This effort supports the national goal of energy security.
