Netflix Elevates Shruti Nishchal to Director of HRBP


Netflix has appointed Shruti Nishchal as its new Director, Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) – Ads, Marketing & Partnerships.
In her new capacity, Shruti will lead strategic people partnerships, overseeing the talent and culture frameworks that support Netflix’s high-growth advertising and partnership functions.
Shruti Nishchal’s Professional Journey and Educational Qualifications
Shruti Nishchal is a distinguished HR leader with nearly two decades of experience across technology, media, and financial services.
Her tenure at Netflix spans approximately six years, during which she has held several progressive leadership roles.
Before her current elevation, she served as the Senior Manager, HRBP – Product, Legal & Finance for the Asia-Pacific (APAC) region, where she partnered with senior leadership to navigate complex organizational shifts.
Her earlier roles within Netflix India involved supporting the company’s rapid expansion from its Mumbai hub.
Prior to joining the streaming sector, Shruti spent over five years at Qualcomm, serving as the Lead HR Business Partner for India Business Teams and the Noida Technology Centre, where she was also a vocal advocate for Diversity & Inclusion (D&I) initiatives.
Her career also includes impactful stints at Axis Bank as Senior Manager in Talent & Organization Development and at Titan Company Limited, where she focused on retail learning ecosystems.
Academically, Shruti is an alumna of the prestigious Management Development Institute (MDI), Gurgaon, where she earned her Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Human Resources, a foundation that has supported her reputation for enabling high-growth organizations through culture-shaping and strategic talent development.
