Safari Industries India Appoints Manish Bhatia as CHRO

Safari Industries India Ltd, a leading manufacturer and marketer of travel gear, appoints Manish Bhatia as Chief Human Resource Officer (CHRO)
In this role, he will lead the company’s people and culture work, with a clear focus on talent planning, leadership growth, and building a strong, results-driven workforce that supports Safari’s business goals.
Extensive Experience
Manish brings over two decades of wide experience from HR leadership and business roles across consumer and manufacturing companies.
Before joining Safari Industries India, Manish was CHRO – EVP HR at Greenply Industries Limited. There, he led the full HR strategy and company-wide change efforts. His work included shaping people practices, building future leaders, and supporting change across teams.
Earlier, he spent more than ten years at VIP Industries Limited, where he held several senior roles. These included Business Head – Institutional Trades & Ecommerce, Business Head – Institutional Trades, and Channel Head – CSD & CPC. His time at VIP shows a strong mix of people leadership and business responsibility.
Manish has also held senior HR roles at Delphi, Arvind Brands Ltd., and Bombay Dyeing. Through these roles, he built solid experience across manufacturing, consumer, and retail sectors.
He earned an MPIM and an MBA in HR from the University of Lucknow between 1998 and 2000. He completed his Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com) from the University of Lucknow from 1994 to 1997.
